**Job Summary**
The Manitoba Metis Federation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Case Worker to join our team. As a Case Worker, you will play a critical role in providing support and services to our clients, working under the direction of the Program Manager and Case Manager.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized case plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed support to clients, utilizing a Housing First approach.
- Facilitate individual and group activities, such as counseling sessions and Sharing Circles, to promote client well-being and empowerment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of client interactions, including contacts, visits, and appointments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community-based resources and services to ensure clients have access to necessary support.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in front-line case management.
- Knowledge of community-based resources and how to access them.
- Knowledge of addictions, attachment, mental health, and trauma, and how it impacts families.
- Knowledge of Child and Family Services, Employment & Income Assistance, and other related systems.
- Strong assessment skills and experience conducting investigations.
- Experience developing and supporting a team-based approach to service delivery.
- Experience working in a not-for-profit organization and Indigenous community is an asset.
- Knowledge of Métis culture, MMF programs, and services is a definite asset.
- Ability to travel and valid Manitoba Driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.
