Job Title: Microsoft Data Solutions Architect

Our client, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner, is seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to join their team. As a key member of their Microsoft Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing large-scale Data Platform, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics solutions for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and design Azure Data Platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakehouses
  • Develop data technology strategy and roadmaps for clients
  • Design and implement data pipelines, BI, and Data Analytics solutions
  • Enforce technical architecture and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate requirements into reporting and data analytics functionality
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar senior role
  • Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognized professional qualification at a comparable level
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Common Data Models/Industry Data Models
  • Experience in OLAP technology and the Microsoft on-premises BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products and the Microsoft Power Platform
