Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tour Guide to join our team at FLYRO. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups of clients on guided tours of museums, galleries, and historical sites, providing information and answering inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm transportation and accommodation reservations for clients
  • Collect administration or entrance fees as required
  • Coordinate recreation activities and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Assist clients with check-in procedures for accommodation and/or transportation
  • Coordinate activities with local tour guides or leaders of performance groups
  • Provide information on tipping customs, currency exchange rates, and other details to clients
  • Sell souvenirs to clients as part of the tour experience
  • Assist clients with special needs and provide support as required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work under pressure to ensure the smooth operation of tours
  • Perform repetitive tasks such as leading tours and providing information
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of information provided to clients
  • Stand for extended periods and walk as part of the tour experience
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Work a permanent schedule with 32-40 hours per week
  • Work in English as the primary language
