We are seeking a highly skilled Market Research Associate to join our Corporate Affairs Research team at Fidelity Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering insightful market and competitive research to support business development, thought leadership, and strategic business planning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end assistance to Market Research Analysts with Fidelity Canada's primary research program, including questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, and analysis.
- Assist with synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data and preparing research reports and/or dashboards for key internal partners.
- Work closely with Market Research Analysts to support Fidelity Canada's businesses with demand analysis and competitive positioning to identify key financial industry trends and uncover new business opportunities.
- Engage with industry-leading market research partners to inform strategic decision making and support internal stakeholder research inquiries.
- Coordinate day-to-day Research team activities to ensure deliverables are met, risks are identified and assessed, and issues are managed and resolved.
- Lead research and thought leadership project planning activities and provide regular updates to the Director on key projects' progress.
- Partner with vendors and key stakeholders across Fidelity to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved.
- 1-3 years' relevant experience, preferably in the financial services/asset management/market research industries.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- Completion of the CSC designation is preferred.
- Enrollment or completion of the MRIA designation is considered an asset, as well as other investment-focused designations CFA/CAIA/CIM/etc.
