Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time teacher-tutor to join our team. As a math and science educator, you will work directly with students to help them develop their skills and confidence in these subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach math and science to students in grades 9-12
  • Use Oxford Learning's proprietary methodologies and philosophies to guide student learning
  • Work with students one-on-one or in small groups
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $17 - $20
  • Flexible scheduling: evenings, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays
