Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Project Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the company in client meetings and develop project schedules.
- Coordinate with field Superintendents to allocate resources and review Equivalency Reports as needed.
- Proactively communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts for fire stopping, heat trace/insulation, and coring.
- Coordinate with designers to ensure systems meet contract needs and building code requirements.
- Track and participate in drawing submissions and permit applications.
- Oversee project compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques.
- Assist in material selection, ordering, and delivery scheduling.
- Coordinate testing and ensure closeout documents are obtained.
- Schedule municipal/engineering inspections and ensure inspection cards are filed appropriately.
- Update and store project information on the company's internal network.
- Ensure company safety policy is enforced and documentation is provided by foremen.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in the Fire Protection industry.
- In-depth knowledge of B.C.B.C, V.B.B.L, NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, and 10.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in Stakeholder Management and familiarity with industry concepts, terminology, requirements, best-practices, and procedures.
- Comfortable using various computer programs/software, including Click-Up, Excel, Word, Teams, and Zoom.
