Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Project Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in client meetings and develop project schedules.
  • Coordinate with field Superintendents to allocate resources and review Equivalency Reports as needed.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts for fire stopping, heat trace/insulation, and coring.
  • Coordinate with designers to ensure systems meet contract needs and building code requirements.
  • Track and participate in drawing submissions and permit applications.
  • Oversee project compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques.
  • Assist in material selection, ordering, and delivery scheduling.
  • Coordinate testing and ensure closeout documents are obtained.
  • Schedule municipal/engineering inspections and ensure inspection cards are filed appropriately.
  • Update and store project information on the company's internal network.
  • Ensure company safety policy is enforced and documentation is provided by foremen.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in the Fire Protection industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of B.C.B.C, V.B.B.L, NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, and 10.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in Stakeholder Management and familiarity with industry concepts, terminology, requirements, best-practices, and procedures.
  • Comfortable using various computer programs/software, including Click-Up, Excel, Word, Teams, and Zoom.
