About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dance instructor to join our team at Dance Creation Studio. As a dance instructor, you will be responsible for teaching dance techniques and artistic interpretation to students of all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and deliver dance classes to students, focusing on technique, artistry, and musicality.
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Performance and Choreography
    • Prepare students for auditions and performances by teaching them choreographed routines and providing guidance on stage presence and performance quality.
    • Collaborate with other instructors to create new choreography and develop performance pieces.
  • Studio Management
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of studio policies and procedures.
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and communication with students and parents.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in dance education.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in dance or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience teaching dance in a professional setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong teaching and communication skills.
    • Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
    • Knowledge of various dance styles, including classical ballet, jazz, modern, and tap.
    • Physical stamina to teach and perform dance.
