About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dance instructor to join our team at Dance Creation Studio. As a dance instructor, you will be responsible for teaching dance techniques and artistic interpretation to students of all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and deliver dance classes, workshops, and private lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Curriculum Development: Create and implement dance curricula that align with the studio's goals and objectives.
  • Student Assessment and Progression: Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their dance skills.
  • Studio Operations: Assist with studio administration, including scheduling, registration, and communication with students and parents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in dance or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of teaching dance experience.
  • Specialization: Classical ballet, jazz, modern ballet, modern or interpretative, tap, and hip hop.
  • Teaching Specialization: General interest courses, amateur training, and professional training.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Willingness to travel for performances and events.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Creativity, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.
