Job Summary

This Kitchen Specialist role performs duties related to food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality meals for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards;
  • Portion and serve food to meet the nutritional needs of our clients;
  • Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and designated cooking/work stations;
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized 12-month program in quantity cooking or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to deal with others effectively;
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of this position;
  • Ability to organize work and operate related equipment;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid vacation and Municipal Pension Plan for eligible employees.
