About this role:This Telecom Sales Agent role is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about information technology and enjoy working with customers. You will be responsible for selling our software product to fiber operators on their journey to building, operating, and monetizing their fiber networks.
Main Responsibilities:- Sell our software product to fiber operators
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
You will be part of a global sales team but will work independently in the geographical area of Canada or the USA. The work is mainly remote, but you will have to attend and present the company and its products at tradeshows in the USA.
Requirements:- Minimum 5+ years of technology sales experience
- Driven personality, enthusiastic and tenacious
- Technical knowledge within the field of telecom, preferably fiber and cable
- Great spoken and written English communication skills
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work independently towards a set of goals
- Comfortable making sales presentations
- Comfortable presenting at trade shows
- Positive attitude and hard-working personality
- Sales degree preferred
