Job Title: Rope Access Technician

We are seeking a skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team at MXCN Labour and Cleaning Services inc. As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.

Work Environment

You will work in a variety of environments, including urban areas, and will be exposed to heights, noise, odours, and wet/damp conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate cleaning machines and equipment
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair
  • Install equipment and machinery
Certifications and Training

You will require the following certifications and training:

  • Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Certification
  • Suspended access equipment training
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Equipment and Machinery Experience

You will have experience with:

  • Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
  • Power tools
  • Pressure washers
Cleaning Experience

You will have experience cleaning:

  • Windows
Area of Specialization

You will specialize in working at high-rises (8 stories or more).

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You will be required to:

  • Work at heights
  • Handle heavy loads
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
