Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Broadview Nursing Centre. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition
  • Participate in recreational activities and outings with residents
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
