About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our community at Amica Senior Lifestyles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise community staff, including front-line employees and department heads
  • Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and programs to drive community growth and success
  • Collaborate with corporate office to develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
  • Lead the marketing plan development and execution to promote Amica Senior Lifestyles and the community
  • Conduct tours of the community to families, potential residents, and other stakeholders
  • Identify and develop high-potential performers within the team
Requirements
  • Certificate in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of senior management experience in the hospitality field or retirement community
  • Experience in a residential care setting, with education in gerontology an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
