About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Kozovski Family Dentistry. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict sterilization protocols.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, taking X-rays and developing images as needed.
  • Record dental procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral hygiene and answering questions.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in dental assisting or a related field.
  • Experience in a dental setting, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction.
