Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Darwin Gadioma. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics.
