As a key member of our distribution operations team, you will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of the PDC, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and making recommendations for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the PDC team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Schedule and coordinate staff to meet the demands of the workflow, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Train, coach, and develop PDC staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Monitor and delegate workflow to ensure that deadlines are met and productivity is maximized.
  • Administer and improve daily, weekly, and monthly workflow reports to ensure that operations are running smoothly.
  • Administer and improve employee productivity reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure that all parties are informed of corporate direction and developments.
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and location records to ensure that stock levels are up-to-date.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to the company's 3R and 5S standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory position, preferably in a distribution environment.
  • Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instructions and coaching.
  • Ability to manage and develop others.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Valid MHE license: Reach Truck, Counter Balance, and Order Picker.
  • Valid TDG certificate.
