Job Description
AAA Canada is seeking a Quality Engineering Planning Specialist to support the planning group in ensuring continuous operations of the Quality department. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to understand product requirements and inspection criteria.
- Support the Planning Department and Quality Control Department by reviewing planning and determining inspection points.
- Specify and outline in-process inspection to be performed during manufacturing.
- Ensure detailed inspection requirements are documented and properly defined in planning documentation.
- Support the FAI Quality Engineering Coordinator with specific information and data required to create or perform FAIs.
- Assist with the creation of detailed part inspection plans to assist with ongoing inspection of production parts.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and optimize quality control procedures.
- Analyze inspection data and quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Equivalent 4 years high school plus Completion of 2 years of post-secondary in a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
