We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions to support our business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, configurations, and enhancements.
  • Participate in the customization of Salesforce applications to meet the specific needs of our business, such as creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, on-premise or in the cloud, using technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Lead data import, export, and migration tasks, ensuring data quality and integrity in Salesforce.
  • Implement and maintain robust security and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with our company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to maximize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and provide solutions to user problems and system errors.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all Salesforce customizations, processes, and integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and new Salesforce features, and recommend their implementation to improve system efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a junior Salesforce development team, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and execute test plans, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Platform Developer I and II, are highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with a proven track record of delivering projects within a similar-sized enterprise.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of sector-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
  • Ability to communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders, including those outside of Quebec or who are monolingual English speakers.
