Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a commercial vehicle as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working order, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Perform brake adjustments and other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Canada Inc., you will be working in a fast-paced transportation environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and may be away from home for extended periods.
