About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Leader to join our executive team as Clinical Programs Vice President. This role will play a key part in supporting and advancing our unique values-based culture by demonstrating principled leadership and embedding patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Unity Health Toronto's overall strategic and operating plans
  • Lead the development and execution of plans for the growth, management, and performance of specific assigned clinical programs
  • Champion and contribute to the network's patient and resident care quality and patient safety agenda
  • Advance external partnerships to enhance Unity Health Toronto's impact, performance, and reputation as a key partner in system-wide service planning and delivery
Clinical Program Leadership
  • Provide executive and operational leadership of services for the programs of Surgery, Trauma, Neuro and Critical Care, Women's and Children's, Heart, Lung and Vascular, Oncology and Endoscopy
  • Drive excellence in clinical care across these programs in partnership with Chiefs and Medical Directors
  • E nsure that network plans, priorities, and initiatives are supported, implemented, and sustained within the programs for which you are accountable
  • Be accountable for the leadership, performance, and operations of identified clinical programs at Unity Health Toronto
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A post-graduate degree in nursing or other healthcare discipline, health policy, or business/health/public administration
  • Progressive experience in leadership of hospital clinical programs, long term care, rehabilitation, and complex care
  • A thorough understanding and appreciation of the complexities and stakeholder dynamics of community and academic health centers
  • Intellectual and analytic ability to deal with complex strategic and operational issues
Salary

The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience.
