Freight Forwarding Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team at BBE Expediting Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Freight Forwarding Operations: Organize and oversee the logistics of freight forwarding, including planning and executing the movement of goods.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that goods are properly stored and distributed.
- Communicate with Customers and Stakeholders: Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
- Maintain Accurate Records and Reports: Ensure that all records and reports are up-to-date and accurate, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a related field, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
- Certifications: Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate and Forklift Operator Certification.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in MS Office and dispatch management software.
