Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Nicola Lodge Care Community. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident care plans.
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
- Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
- Current First Aid with CPR.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicable to Ontario applicants.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicant.
- Long Term Care Experience.
We offer a competitive wage leveling rate of pay $32.84 - $41.35 per hour until such time that wage leveling ends, then the pay rate will reflect the collective agreement pay rates.
