SchoolsPlus Facilitator

About the Role:
The SchoolsPlus Facilitator will play a key role in implementing a collaborative and integrated model of service delivery to identify and connect students and families to comprehensive services and supports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the SchoolsPlus Leader to bring together multi-sector partners to develop and implement programs and initiatives to meet the needs of school communities.
- Coordinate services provided by multiple agencies and government departments for students and families at-risk.
- Supervise a team of Community Outreach Workers.
- Lead and champion positive ongoing communication with school administration, staff, and a broad range of government and community partners.
- Monitor the progress of students served by the program.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work preferred or equivalent such as a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with relevant experience.
- Eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience managing complex social work cases and facilitating interagency collaboration, preferably serving children and families.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
What We Offer:
- A competitive annual salary of $66,889.75.
- Seven (7) hours per day (excluding lunch) totalling 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
