Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at the Quinte Physiotherapy Clinic Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting healthcare professionals with rehabilitation programs, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop effective treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Carry out rehabilitation programs to help patients recover from various injuries or disabilities, including setting up and dismantling equipment, administering evaluative tests and procedures, and maintaining cleanliness of collection areas.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, document patient rehabilitation progress, and process files and paperwork efficiently.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and provide exceptional client service to ensure patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail, punctuality, client focus, and efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
