Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at Shelby American, Inc. This is a full-time position that comes with a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Summary:

This role involves generating leads and closing sales by utilizing effective marketing strategies to achieve business goals for our designated RSI community. You will cultivate referral relationships within your designated territory and provide leadership, communication, and marketing training to other staff members as instructed by the Director of Marketing. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing lead generation activities, monitoring and tracking leads, and providing lead management training to other staff members when required.

Responsibilities:

1. Make outbound calls inviting prospective residents, their families, and friends to experience our senior independent living community.
2. Cultivate and maintain referral relationships with local and professional networks serving the senior community.
3. Develop and implement a marketing plan in conjunction with the Director of Marketing.
4. Actively participate in all lead-generating special events and offer seniors the opportunity to tour the community, stay overnight, or try a meal to learn more about the benefits of living at a Ray Stone Senior Community.
5. Provide prospective residents with a customized tour, cultivate the relationship using excellent people and sales skills, and ultimately convert prospects into residents.
6. Demonstrate excellent communication, follow-up, and closing skills with both senior prospects and their children in a warm and caring manner.
7. Provide budget analysis of marketing expenditures and return on investment results.
8. Update competition reports and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
9. Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
10. Assist in resident retention efforts.
11. Assist the Community Administrator with assigned tasks.
12. Meet all assigned work requirements of the job.
13. Maintain regular attendance.
14. Present a professional appearance in dress and grooming.
15. Keep business and operations information confidential.
16. Effectively and consistently communicate with Ray Stone associates and clients.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- One to three years of experience in direct sales, preferably with proven success.
- Minimum of one year generating sales leads through networking, preferably with prior experience in Residential Leasing.
- Experience with Align and Yardi, preferably proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience serving senior citizens and familiarity with related laws and regulations, preferred.
