Disaster Response Specialist

At Inflector Environmental Services LP, we are seeking a skilled Disaster Response Specialist to join our team. This is a physically demanding role that requires individuals to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in potentially hazardous environments.
Responsibilities- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials;
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades;
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt;
- Assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction;
- Demolishing buildings;
- Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants;
- Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites;
- Helping tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed;
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the construction industry, specifically in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings. As a Disaster Response Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads.
Work EnvironmentThe work site environment is outdoors, with potential exposure to dust, cold temperatures, and confined spaces. You must be comfortable working at heights and handling hazardous materials.
Education and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will require a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years of experience in the construction industry. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also essential.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime may be required, and you must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
