Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Lift Driver to join our team at Gate Gourmet. As a key member of our flight kitchen operations, you will be responsible for delivering temperature-controlled food and related goods to our customer's aircrafts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and goods to aircrafts via Gate Gourmet vehicle airside
  • Manually load and unload galley equipment and goods onto and off trucks and aircrafts
  • Operate safely at all times, respecting specified rules and regulations while adhering to specific customer guidelines
  • Monitor deliveries for accuracy and security
  • Interact with and provide superior customer service to onboard airline representatives and partners

Requirements

  • Class 5 Drivers License or higher
  • Clean driving record
  • Obtain and maintain, a Transport Canada Security Clearance
  • Obtain and maintain an airside vehicle operators permit (practical & written testing conducted)
  • Manage your time and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, extremely time sensitive environment

Working Conditions

  • Work an assigned schedule which may include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work overtime when required
  • Arrive to work on-time
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Follow directions and communicate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Work as a member of a team
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
