Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Food Service Host/Hostess to join our team at Kungfu Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Order and receive liquor and other supplies and maintain accurate inventories
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding menu items and preparation methods
  • Coordinate seating arrangements for large groups and ensure timely service
  • Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome
  • Manage customer reservations and assign tables efficiently
  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the food service industry an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
