Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and packaging lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain auxiliary equipment, including conveyors, tables, decoration, and lidding equipment.
  • Mold Setup and Preventative Maintenance: Assist the mold setup team and perform preventative maintenance on secondary equipment.
  • Housekeeping and 5S Standards: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards and observing operations to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Possess mechanical ability and experience in an industrial environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess good communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Have a background in troubleshooting industrial equipment problems and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Be computer literate and able to manage time, projects, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Be able to work flexible hours and be available on a 24-hour clock periodically.
  • Safety Attitude and Quality Understanding: Demonstrate a safety attitude and mindset, and have a thorough understanding of quality measurements.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Experience with Stores Management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems: Have experience with stores management and computerized maintenance management systems.
