Pet Care Team Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Pet Experts to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth in our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Pet Experts to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, store maintenance, and loss prevention
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer loyalty
- Partner with local shelters, rescues, and charities to support pet adoption and welfare initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the store remains competitive and compliant with company standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the pet industry
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
- Reliable means of transportation to and from the store
