Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation
- Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify patient goals and objectives.
- Patient Care and Support
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Treatment and Rehabilitation
- Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
- Administrative and Clerical Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
- Process claims and handle administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient goals and objectives.
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Language
- Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule
- 32 hours per week.
