Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and energetic individual to join our team as a Production Technician. As an electro-mechanical assembly specialist, you will be responsible for building, testing, and packaging products in our production facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly and other related tasks under general guidance with limited supervision.
  • Follow detailed assembly procedures and instructions to ensure quality workmanship and industry standards.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to prepare and assemble electronic/electrical box builds.
  • Report problems and rejections of first-off product and other issues to the Production Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Observe all safety procedures and precautions.
  • Contribute expertise to help solve design and assembly problems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in electro-mechanical disciplines is preferable.
  • 2+ years of Electronic Manufacturing and repair experience.
  • Testing and inspection of PCBs is an asset.
  • Experience in ESD procedures and Lean principles.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • Fluency in speaking and reading English.
  • Able to follow Employee Policy document and all safety standards.
  • Willingness to participate in decision making and continuous improvement.
