We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Medigroup Health Centre & Pharmacy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Assessment and Diagnosis
    • Conduct thorough medical assessments to identify diseases and injuries
    • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Prescription and Treatment
    • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary
  • Patient Education and Counselling
    • Provide patients with education and guidance on health care and wellness
    • Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical information
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
    • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Experience and Skills
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
