Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Sage Creek Medical Center Ltd. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy habits, disease prevention, and management.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and X-rays, to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
