About the Role

Olympic Controls is seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain instruments and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Repair and Calibration: Repair and calibrate system components, including instruments and measuring devices.
  • Test and Maintenance Reports: Complete thorough test and maintenance reports to document the condition of instruments and systems.
  • Component Replacement: Remove and replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Installation and Setup: Install new measuring instruments and set up systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to prevent equipment failure.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification and Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal).
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure, manual dexterity, attention to detail, efficient interpersonal skills, team player, and reliability.
