About the Role

This key position will oversee the support of all Line of Business (LoB) systems, managing alignment of business requirements with Westland's business needs and goals, coordinating configuration functions, and ensuring consistent quality level 2 support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide strong leadership to a diverse team of business analysts, configuration analysts, and application support specialists.
  2. Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Insurance Broker Operations Specialist to implement efficient solutions that enhance productivity, user experience, and overall performance.
  3. Oversee the team's handling of application support requests, incidents, and escalations.
  4. Evaluate and implement best practices for business analysis, configuration management, and application support.
  5. Guide team members in their professional growth and technical expertise through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, leading and motivating teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Solid knowledge of application support methodologies, incident management, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with software configuration management practices and principles.
  • Working knowledge of the insurance industry would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
