About the Role

A Financial Data Analyst at TS Imagine is responsible for managing and leveraging data consumed by elite financial institutions. This involves applying structured thinking and leveraging technology to acquire, normalize, consolidate, validate, and distribute data about financial instruments, legal entities, corporate actions, prices, and quantitative data structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data about financial products, corporate actions, prices, legal entities, valuation data structures, and common reference data consumed by 500+ clients worldwide.
  • Ensure and enhance the integrity of our mission-critical data offering.
  • Learn finance from the data up.
  • Make and implement recommendations to prevent reoccurring issues and automate manual processes.
  • Automate processes and enhance data with Basic SQL, Python, and JavaScript.

Requirements

  • Robust knowledge of pricing models for financial instruments and OTC deals.
  • Familiarity with financial products.
  • Experience in trading, portfolio management, risk management, or margin management.
  • A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as financial engineering, physics, or mathematics from a reputable university.
  • A good understanding of risk management methodologies such as VaR and stress testing.
  • Familiarity with the terms and conditions of instruments in fixed income, commodities, FX, crypto, equity, and their derivatives.
  • Basic SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Data Vendors, such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, or FactSet.
  • A CFA and/or FRM or be a candidate pursuing one.
  • Relevant financial internship experience.
  • Master data management (instruments, corporate actions, and valuation data), metadata management, data quality management, or data governance.
