Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at KTL Transport Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, store, update and retrieve financial data, and maintain payroll records.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements, and compile statistics and reports.
  • Employee Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform data entry, prepare T4 statements and other statements, and maintain filing systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Benefits: Dental plan, Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), and permanent employment.
