Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a Surgical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing pre-admission assessment, teaching, and discharge planning for patients undergoing elective surgery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-admission assessments for patients undergoing elective surgery
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Advanced (post-graduate) courses in surgical nursing and/or ambulatory care
- One (1) year related experience in surgical nursing, ambulatory care, and/or pre-admission
