Societe Generale is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Global Banking and Advisory team. As a key member of our Credit Portfolio Management group, you will be responsible for assessing credit quality, recommending credit limits, and monitoring compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties, analyzing financial statements, client strategy, business risk, and industry dynamics.
- Develop financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
- Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings, monitoring compliance with covenants.
- Review relevant legal documentation and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
- Liaise with CRE teams, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.
- 4 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues in the US, Europe, and Asia.
