Job Title: Coordonnateur(trice) Environnement

Ville de Laval is seeking a Coordonnateur(trice) Environnement to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing environmental projects and activities, particularly in the field of climate change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement environmental projects and activities, including those related to climate change.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including citizens, community groups, and other organizations.
  • Provide information and guidance to citizens and stakeholders on environmental issues and projects.
  • Contribute to the development of environmental policies and programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve environmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or sustainability.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field, including experience in project management and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental issues and policies, particularly in the field of climate change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
