Senior Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the analysis of proposed software solutions and requests for system changes to determine the scope, impact, and cost estimate of implementation.
  • Maintain structured specifications, programming, and development of unit test plans, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
  • Perform a wide range of complex technical and statistical functions, including gathering, analyzing data, and making recommendations based on the analysis.
  • Develop and maintain standard guidelines, policies, and work procedures that support application maintenance and development, including IS security, change management, disaster recovery plans, and unit testing procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in small to medium strategic, financial, and regulatory projects, and contribute to the development of business cases and project charters.

Requirements:

  • 2-year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to share knowledge and skills with others.
  • Demonstrated competence in the execution of small projects.
  • Good understanding of applications such as SAP, Customer Information Systems (CIS), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Mobile Workforce Management (MWFM), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI), or Content Management Systems (CMS) is an asset.
