About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Associate to join our team at Pizza Pizza. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring that all food preparation and serving areas are clean and sanitized, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, including vegetables and fruits.
  • Stocking refrigerators and salad bars, as well as receiving and storing supplies in designated areas.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces.
  • Providing excellent customer service by being friendly, efficient, and responsive to customers' needs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight. The fast-paced environment can be physically demanding, but we strive to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call duties.
  • Linguistic proficiency in English, as it is the primary language used in the workplace.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is between $14.00 to $16.50 per hour, depending on location and level of experience. However, please note that this figure is an estimate and may vary based on various factors.
