Food Service Supervisor

Shri Dakshin is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Service Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and check assembly of trays, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
