Mechanical Designer for LV Power Distribution

We are seeking an experienced mechanical designer to join our team in a contract role with a strong likelihood of extension. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a stable and challenging opportunity.
About the Role
This is a unique chance to work with a renowned company at a competitive pay rate, offering a 7AM-3:30PM work schedule. As a mechanical designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing LV power distribution products, including switchboards and switchgear.
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 3-5 years prior technical experience with LV Power Distribution Products (Switchboards/Switchgear strongly preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years in a Manufacturing or Design Engineering capacity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred), or Diploma in Mechanical Technology
- Highly proficient user of Autodesk Inventor 2018 or equivalent 3D Modelling software
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC and related software, including MS Office Suite
- Experience using and interpreting the Canadian Electrical Code, and applicable CSA & UL Standards
Benefits and Advantages
