About the Role

The Addiction Care Specialist will be responsible for providing holistic treatment to adults with addictions-related issues. This includes assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and guiding them through the recovery process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess leadership qualities.

This position requires the ability to work all shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate must be registered as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Saskatchewan and have recent clinical experience. A current Basic CPR certification is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Deliver client care according to established standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate progress records and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with pharmacological training
  • Current licensure as an LPN in Saskatchewan
  • Recent clinical experience, including medication administration and leadership duties
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
