About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Cardiologist to join our team at VCA Canada. As a key member of our specialty health care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions in animals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our veterinary team
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary cardiology
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service to our clients
  • Collaborate with our emergency and critical care team to provide comprehensive care to our patients

Requirements

  • DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
  • Board-certified (Cardiology) or eligible
  • Experience with varied cases, a cross-section of clients, and all levels of staff
  • Licensed in Alberta or eligible to be licensed
  • Excellent diagnostic and critical thinking skills
  • Meticulous with medical records
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
