Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and develop contracts/long-term agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and delivery terms.
- Source new suppliers and buyers to expand our network and drive cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including procurement policies and procedures.
- Track orders and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities, including services and products sourced.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency across the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (an asset).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and experience with procurement software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
