**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster - Property and Casualty to join our team at Crawford & Company. This is a hybrid role that requires a combination of work from home and field work.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate property and casualty claims to determine liability and extent of damage.
- Negotiate and settle claims in a fair and timely manner.
- Participate in ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve claims-related issues.
Requirements
- 2 years of technical experience in an insurance claims environment, with strong knowledge of property claims.
- Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field, working towards full license and CIP designation.
- Proficient in CMS, including maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction, and reserve records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
