Accounting Clerk

Chevron Town Pantry is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledgers, and financial statements.
- Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and ensure compliance with labour regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management, including trial balances, financial statements, and other statistical reports.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
